Call for Papers — ICTE 2026, September 25-26

PRESENTATION

This year’s edition of our conference invites participants to reflect on the ways in which artificial intelligence is transforming contemporary education. In a context marked by both enthusiasm and concern, the conference proposes an exploration of the main myths and expectations associated with AI, as well as their impact on educational practices. Relevant examples of the responsible integration of emerging technologies will be discussed, highlighting the necessary balance between innovation and critical thinking. The initiative aims to open a dialogue on the role of both teacher and student within an ever-evolving educational landscape.

The event is addressed to full-time and associate academic staff in higher education, as well as PhD students from universities in Romania and abroad who are engaged in educational research. Submitted papers should align with the theme of the event and fall within one of the following fields: Modern Languages, Educational Sciences (Psychopedagogy), or Didactics.

SUBMISSIONS

In order to be included in the conference program, you are invited to:

The deadline for registration is August 31, 2026.

FORMAT

The conference will be held in a hybrid format:

  • September 25 – on-site
  • September 26 – online

 

PUBLICATION

Papers that meet the formatting requirements will be published in a volume with ISBN and ISSN, by Presa Universitară Clujeană, a CNCS-accredited publishing house. The electronic version of the publication will be sent to each participant by email.

PAPER FORMAT GUIDELINES

For the fields of Educational Sciences and Didactics, full papers may be written in Romanian or English (at the author’s choice).
For the field of Modern Languages, papers may be written in English, French, or German.

DEADLINE FOR FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

Full papers must be submitted to icte@usamvcluj.ro by December 1, 2026.

  • On-site participants with a paper: 300 RON / 60 EUR
  • Online participants with a paper: 250 RON / 50 EUR
  • On-site participants without a paper / accompanying persons: 150 RON / 30 EUR
  • Participants from the USAMV Life Sciences Consortium in Romania / Cluj-Napoca University Alliance: 200 RON / 40 EUR

The fee covers publication costs and lunch.

All participants, both on-site and online, will receive certificates of participation.
